The weather has turned noticeably colder in London as 2022 began. Until the end of 2021, this winter had been pretty mild, but I actually don’t mind the lower temperatures. I like properly cold and crisp weather in the sun. For one thing, soggy and sodden paths become solid as the ground hardens, making walks a lot less muddy and more enjoyable. I decided to go for an amble in Wimbledon Common / Putney Heath and took a few pictures.
