It looks like the recent cold spell in London has ended. There were some snow flurries and hard frost where I live, but it is back to the usual ever-grey February days. What a shame. As it is often said, the weather is something that many Britons obsess about and obsessively talk about. For that reason, there were many conversations about the weather, and even online news outlets led with rolling coverages of the havoc caused by the weather as the temperatures plunged and snow fell. The weather had thankfully replaced another, more recent Great British obsession – Brexit – as the main conversation topic. Alas, it is now back to the Groundhog Day of Brexit.
