Swine flu │ What next?

I must admit I have half-forgotten about the (now official) swine flu pandemic. I certainly don’t think swine flu is some sort of conspiracy concocted by governments / pharmaceutical companies, and I do believe that it represents a serious threat, especially this coming winter in the northern hemisphere. It is therefore pretty worrisome that there is a strain of swine flu resistant to Tamiflu. One major line of defence in many countries is the use of anti-viral drugs, so hopefully this strain will not spread widely and render the stockpiled drugs redundant.
