I am a heavy user of the internet, and possibly, or probably, addicted to it. I’m fine without internet access for a few days, but not much beyond that, since I would feel cut off from the world. I don’t spend huge amounts of time on social networking sites, but I do like to read the news. It’s a strange and frankly disturbing situation, because I tend to miss these virtual connections to the real world, while oblivious to what is actually present in the real world around me. Perhaps I’m also depressed too. This is a worrying study.
Am I addicted to the internet and depressed?
