I have a great phone, Nexus One, and it is really useful. My name, Nexus One, swine and pearls have been mentioned in the same sentence more than once. I have to concur. For me, a mobile phone is primarily a device to talk to someone or to send a text message. Yet this phone can do so much more, and I’m finding out somewhat timidly what it can do. Whenever I have wi-fi connection, I’m seen fiddling my phone. I have become someone whom I despise: the constantly fidgeting self-centered mobile phone user.
This phone is very useful for blogging as well. As someone who has been hand-coding blog posts with HTML for a long time, I have not been able to find a good Android app, that would also allow me to draft entries off-line. But I’ve found a good solution. I can write content using one of the notepad apps and save the text until I can go online, copy all, paste and publish them by opening the blogger site on the browser.
I’m still finding it hard to type quickly, even with the predictive text function. A matter of practice?
