Hainan, the new Dubai?

Just read an interesting article in the NYT (On China’s Hainan Island, the Boom Is Deafening), which casts doubt on the property bubble in Hainan, an island in the south. Perhaps China’s domestic economy is large to sustain it, but who knows, it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
