Polesden Lacey is one of the most visited Natioanl Trust properties, where a renouned Edwardian hostess Mrs Greville had entertained in grand manner, and it is also where the then Duke and Duchess of York (the future King George VI and Queen Elizabeth) had spent part of their honeymoon in 1923.
