The sgraffiti inside Maison Cauchie are absolutely beautiful. It is hard to believe that these pieces of art had been covered up with wallpapers, and were nearly lost forever. The house is open to public on the first weekend of each month, and there are guided tours in English. For further details, see www.cauchie.be. At the time of taking this picture, the entry fee was €5. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Brussels.
