Cows were grazing, contentedly (though I wouldn’t know whether they were actually content), on Christ Church Meadow. To the left, the tower of the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, standing in front of the dome of the Radcliffe Camera; to the right, the tower of Merton College Chapel.
